              SEASON TWELVE: 2010-2011

              Aberfeldy Film Festival

Normally, in November of each year, Heartland Film Society organises the Aberfeldy Film Festival.  The festival usually takes place over one weekend in a variety of venues in and around Aberfeldy, including the spectacular venue at Castle Menzies and a showing at the community owned Birks Cinema.  The Palme Dewar Shorts Competition is also judged during the festival and the shortlisted films are viewed at Dewar’s Distillery on Saturday afternoon.

Please note, however, that there will not be an Aberfeldy Film Festival or a Palme Dewar Shorts Competition in late 2011 - but we will be shortly starting to plan the festival programme for late 2012 and  launching a new Palme Dewar Shorts Competition 2012, to be judged that same weekend.

Watch this page towards the end of 2011 for more information about next  year's festival and the entry details for the Palme Dewar Shorts Competition 2012.
