Palme Dewar short film competition
The Palme-Dewar short film competition is an open competition for short films made either in Scotland or by film makers based in Scotland.
Supported by Scottish Screen, Heartland Film Society and Dewar’s World of Whisky the competition winner receives a Palme-Dewar certificate, a bottle of single malt Aberfeldy whisky, an engraved decanter and £250 cash prize. The Palme-Dewar short film competition was an integral part of the 2009 and 2010 Aberfeldy Film Festivals. The six films shortlisted for the Palme-Dewar are shown at the Festival at Dewar’s World of Whisky where the audience votes for their favourite film. There was no competition held in 2011. The 2012 Palme Dewar competition is not yet open. Watch this page for more information or contact us if you would like to be notified when the competition opens. |
