ABERFELDY FILM FESTIVAL 2010
"Great films in unusual places!"
Our fourth Film Festival took place in a variety of venues in and around Aberfeldy, including the 2009 festival's spectacular venue at Castle Menzies and a showing at the community owned Birks Cinema. The Palme Dewar Shorts competition took place again and the 2010 winner was David Graham Scott, with his film 'Arcadia'. Congratulations to David and the other finalists on such an excellent set of entries. There was a viewing of the shortlisted films and a winner’s presentation at Dewar’s Distillery on Saturday afternoon. We also introduced a new venture at the Castle on Sunday, with the chance to make your own animated film with the help of Red Kite productions, including showings of some of the most influential and innovative animated short films ever made.
